What will the weather be like? Perfect, we hope! In this part of the country, it's not unusual to have a big variation between day night tem- peratures. Be prepared for anything. Most often the days are short sleeve and mornings evenings jackets feel good. Spring and fall trips are likely to be cooler and drier. Rain showers are usually brief in the afternoons of bright sunshiny days. Low humidity prevails most of the time.

When is the fishing best? The fishing is better when it's cool. The fish are mountain trout, fun and delicious eating but not easy to catch. You will need to purchase a license in Glenwood prior to departure.

What about travel insurance? These trips are as safe as any vacation, but any trek into the wilderness involves a small level of risk. We encourage the purchase of travel insurance to cover cancellation, personal property and injury. Details and information will be sent upon request. Outfitters and guides are required to have first aid training and are prepared to conduct rescue operations, if necessary. If you follow their instructions, there is little danger of injury.

May I bring firearms? We strongly discourage bringing any firearms or fireworks into the backcountry.

What will be the size of my group? Eight to 12 guests, or smaller. The crew is usually three to five.
